Zeekr previews 9X at Auto Shanghai 2025

MANILA: The Zeekr 9X has been displayed to the public for the first time at the recently-concluded Auto Shanghai 2025.

In a statement, the company said that its newly-revealed flagship model “sets new benchmarks in design, performance, and electrification, marking a bold leap forward for the brand.”

The Zeekr 9X, the firm added, is aimed at merging the advantages of pure electric (BEV) and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) to provide disruptive innovation in performance, efficiency, and overall driving experience.

Here are some details about the latest product from the Geely Holding Group’s subsidiary.

Per Zeekr, the 9X is powered by a Its 2.0T hybrid engine that can deliver a peak of 275 horsepower that allows the vehicle to accelerate 100 kilometers per hour from rest in three seconds.

The said mill is mated to CATL's Xiaoyao battery that lets it cover more than 380 kilometers.

Aside from that, the Zeekr 9x has the following features:

• Dual-chamber air suspension with active stabilizer bars
• 42,242 laser-engraved, diamond-cut lamp facets
• G-Pilot H9 autonomous driving system (powered by dual Thor chips, five LiDAR sensors, and a 1,400 TOPS computing power, enabling the advanced L3-level driving capabilities).

According to Zeekr, the global launch of the 9X will be in the third quarter of 2025 — together with the operation of the V4 Ultra-Fast charging pile.
