21 3S dealership locations to support VinFast’s initial e-moto customers

MANILA: VinFast E-Motorcycles has opened 21 dealership locations.

The establishment of the retail network for the Vietnamese marque's electric two-wheeler arm will not only bring more riders into the fold, but will also support the sales, services, and spare part needs of initial adopters. 

The pioneer set of dealerships will begin operations in major cities nationwide and are expected to grow further in the coming period, progressively expanding VinFast’s presence across the Philippines.

One-stop shops 

VinFast Philippines  dealerships will act as one-stop shops, where customers can check out product displays, discover energy solutions, and bring their electric motorbikes for technical services. 

Customers can get up close and personal with its three-model roster, receive personalized consultations, take on test rides, experience the brand’s battery swapping system, explore home-charging solutions, and choose an ownership option that best suits their needs, with professional support throughout the entire journey, from initial product discovery to after-sales service. 

VinFast E-Motorcycle Philippines President Ireneo Fabros shared that the facilities are spread out across the country with “no restrictions” as to where a dealership can be established. 

“We are happy it’s across the Philippines, located in Metro Manila, Batangas, Laguna, even in Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, up to the farthest area of Mindanao, Davao, and Zamboanga,” Fabros commented. 

Battery swapping 

Key to the success of VinFast’s electric motorcycles in the country is the establishment of the brand’s battery swapping network, which it said is expected to grow to 30,000. 

A single battery swap will cost a VinFast e-motorcycle owner just around P35, which will run up to 80 kilometers. 

Per Fabros, the standard structure of the company’s battery swapping network will be a minimum of two cabinets per dealer; with 21 locations currently operational, there are at least 42 battery lockers available for the first batch of e-moto riders.

At the time of writing, VinFast E-Motorcycle Philippines has three models in its lineup. Below are their corresponding price tags:
