Bristol Motorcycles PH expands lineup anew with Kove Series

MANILA: Hot on the heels of the Zontes launch a few months back, Bristol Motorcycles Philippines has yet again expanded its lineup with the addition of the Kove Series. 

Under the said family is a technology-driven roster unveiled this weekend at Bristol’s showroom in Caloocan. 

“Today, we take another bold step with a new lineup — engineered to deliver powerful performance, intelligent features, and timeless design,” the company wrote in a press release. 

“With Bristol, every journey becomes a statement of what true riding is all about,” it added. 

Bristol Kove roster 

Under the Bristol Kove Series are five motorbikes that cover various segments, starting at what is aimed at the sport bike category — the 450 RR Pro. 

Bristol Kove 450 RR Pro 

According to Bristol, the Kove 450 RR Pro is a motorcycle that “redefines the 400 cc (cubic-centimeter) category with unmatched performance and next-level technology.” 

Propulsion comes from a 443 cc, four-pot, dual overhead camshaft (DOHC), liquid-cooled powerplant capable of dishing out the below numbers: 

Maximum power output (in horsepower [hp>)	69
Maximum torque (in Newton-meters [Nm>)	39

The said mill also endows the sport bike with a 220 kilometers per hour (kph) top speed. 

Below are some of its unique features: 

• LED headlight
• Aerodynamic body 
• 300-millimeter (mm) floating disc brake with a four-piston caliper 
• Anti-lock braking system (ABS)
• Thin-film transistor (TFT) panel
• Steering damper 

The Bristol Kove 450 RR Pro is priced at P418,000 with a discounted cash price of P388,000. 

Bristol Kove 525 X 

Fans of the Bristol brand might find the Kove 525 X familiar. That’s because it was previously sold as the Venturi 500. Now under the Kove family, it is made more refined and ready to face greater challenges. 

The adventure bike packs a two-cylinder, DOHC engine with liquid cooling. Below are its performance figures: 

Maximum power output (in hp)	53
Maximum torque (in Nm)	48

Speed for the Bristol Kove 525 X peaks at 170 kph. 

Below are some of its other notable appointments: 

• Seven-inch TFT instrument panel 
• KYB front and rear suspensions with preload function 
• Dual front disc brake with Brembo caliper 
• Single rear disc brake with Brembo caliper 

The Bristol Kove 525 X has a sticker price of P398,800 with a discounted cash price of P378,800. 

Bristol Kove 800 X 

Moving up in terms of displacement size is the Bristol Kove 800 X. The go-anywhere two-wheeler comes in as a lightweight adventure bike that strikes the ideal balance between agility and power. 

In betwixt the rider’s thighs is a 799 cc engine with two cylinders, eight valves, DOHC technology, and liquid cooling. The following are its capabilities: 

Maximum power output (in hp)	95
Maximum torque (in Nm)	80

It has a top speed of 210 kph. Listed here are its noteworthy features: 

• Vertically-oriented TFT instrument panel 
• Steering damper 
• LED lighting 
• External airbag rear suspension with adjustable preload, compression, and rebound 

Those wanting to get the motorcycle will be set back P598,800. It has a discounted cash price of P578,800. 

Bristol Kove ADX 180 

Bristol’s new Kove lineup also looks to touch base on the popular automatic scooter segment and the company plans to do it with the ADX 180. 

Built to go beyond the city, the Bristol Kove ADX 180 comes with features such as a TFT instrument panel, an inverted front fork with traction control system (TCS) and ABS, and a dual shock absorber setup at the rear. 

It is offered with a P198,800 price tag. With a discounted cash price, it costs P178,800. 

Bristol Kove AX 180 

Shedding the extra weight, the sporty counterpart of the Bristol Kove ADX 180 looks to target motorcycle enthusiasts who are passionate about performance. The AX 180 is an ideal city scoot that offers just the right amount of style and sportiness without breaking the bank. 

Its notable features include an LCD meter display, a telescopic front fork (also with TCS and ABS), and a telescopic coil spring rear suspension. 

It costs P149,900 with a discounted cash price of P129,900.
