Foodpanda delivery partners get free one month healthcare from KonsultaMD

MANILA: In order to provide Foodpanda riders, bikers, and other delivery partners and their families with free healthcare for one month, telehealth service platform KonsultaMD and the quick-commerce platform have teamed up.

The alliance aims to help and express gratitude to frontline workers like delivery staff who made a significant difference in the lives of individuals confined to their homes during the height of the global health crisis. The nation's economic revival also still depends on the delivery partners.

“Whether it's delivering our morning coffee, our groceries, or medicines, we can’t deny the way delivery has changed and shaped our lives. The riders, our unsung heroes, were the primary point of contact for many people during the pandemic. They put themselves and their families at risk to help us. After all that they’ve done for us, it’s time to give back,” KonsultaMD Chief Executive Officer Cholo Tagaysay expressed. 

Through KonsultaMD, Foodpanda delivery partners and up to four dependents can get accessible healthcare anytime and anywhere. The free health plan includes 24/7 unlimited consultations via voice and four free video consults with licensed KonsultaMD doctors.

It also covers e-prescriptions, e-laboratory requests, e-medical certificates, and access to various benefits offered by other KonsultaMD partners.

KonsultaMD Health Plans are subscription-based and are available for as low as P60 per month. There is also a “pay per consult” service for non-members for just P199.
