Gumande LY-02 now in PH

MANILA: Following its reveal last April, Gumande Tires Philippines has started retailing to the local market the LY-02.

In a statement, Tire Power Corporation (TPC) shared that the latest addition to the brand’s product line in the country consists of is a line of high-performance, semi-slick tires designed to provide enhanced grip. The new offering fits motorcycles equipped with 17-inch tires, including the Honda Winner X, Yamaha Sniper 155, and Suzuki Raider, among other models.

“The LY-02 was developed for riders who want more from their tires. Whether you're riding a Raider, Sniper, Winner X, or other 17-inch motorcycles, the LY-02 delivers the grip, control, and confidence needed for everyday riding and weekend performance runs,” Gumande Tires Philippines Marketing Director Janis Crisostomo told Zigwheels Philippines in an interview.

“It's our answer to the growing demand for a tire that combines street practicality with race-inspired performance,” she added.  

The available sizes for the Gumande LY-02 are:

• 70/80
• 70/90
• 80/80
• 80/90
• 90/80
• 110/70
• 120/70

New model to arrive next month

Following this, Gumande Tires Philippines is set to bring in another product that would cover dual sport two-wheelers.

Called the KD02, the sizing of the soon-to-arrive tire line will vary from 13-, 14-, and 17-inch offerings. Here are the specific size ranges:

13-inch	110/70 130/70
14-inch	90/80 100/80 110/80
17-inch	70/90 80/90 110/70 120/70 150/70

Dealer network expansion

Aside from product expansion, Gumande Tires Philippines is boosting its presence across the country after forging a partnership with Express Cycle.

Per TPC, the newly-inked collaboration serves as an “important step in bringing quality and affordable tire solutions closer to riders across the region.”

With this, the latest member of the Gumande Tires network in the country will ensure that its market in Zamboanga del Norte, Zamboanga del Sur, Zamboanga Sibugay, Misamis Occidental, and Lanao del Norte will have access to marque’s products. 

“Every new partnership represents a shared commitment to serve riders better. With Express Cycle joining the Gumande family, we are excited to grow our presence in Pagadian, support the local riding community, and ensure that more riders experience the grip, durability, and value that Gumande is known for," Cristomo noted.

Part of the Jianxin Group, Gumande is a tire brand that specializes in manufacturing tires for electric vehicles, motorcycles, and scooters.
