Gumande Tires PH 'soft-launches' KD02

MANILA: Gumande Tires Philippines has further expanded its lineup with the soft-launching of the KD02.

In an interview, Gumande Tires Philippines Marketing Manager Janis Crisostoma told Zigwheels Philippines said that newly launched product marked the brand’s presence in the local dual sport tire market.

“We’re proud to announce our presence in the highly-competitive dual sport tire market as we launch the Gumande KD02. Its arrival will help us better serve our exponentially-growing number of followers.  We decided to bring this in because we wanted a tire that gives riders more freedom—not solely meant for either city commute or adventure riding,”

Set to become available in all Gumande dealers starting this week, the latest offering carries over the compound used in the LT Series but builds the KD-02 with stronger wear resistance for mixed terrain conditions.

Their tire sizes vary from 13, 14, and 17 inches in diameter—with specific size ranges as follows:

13-inch	110/70 130/70
14-inch	90/80 100/80 110/80
17-inch	70/90 80/90 110/70 120/70 150/70

‘Lakbay Gumande’ Roadshow

To note, the new model was displayed at the recently-concluded “Lakbay Gumande” Visayas leg roadshow. The aforementioned initiative went to Tacloban, Ormoc, Cebu, Bais, Bacolod, and Iloilo in a span of 21 days to strengthen the marque’s presence in the region.
