Harley-Davidson quietly adds Pan America 1250 ST to PH lineup

MANILA: Harley Davidson of Manila has quietly added the Pan America 1250 ST to its locally available lineup of bikes. 

Initially, Zigwheels Philippines noticed that the Land Transportation Office had released homologation papers (memorandum circular VDM-2025-4708) for the said model dated October 9, 2025. 

But upon checking the company’s local website, the spicier version of the brand’s premier adventure bike is now listed together with other 2025 model year nameplates. Harley Davidson of Manila’s official Facebook page also called upon those interested in the ride to check it out in the metal at its EDSA Greenhills dealership. 

So, what is the all-new Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 ST offering to would-be buyers?

Motorcycle specifications

While classed as an adventure bike, the most significant difference between the regular Harley-Davidson Pan America and the Pan America 1250 ST is its focus on street performance. 

Instead of wearing a set of versatile Michelin Anakee Adventures, it wears Michelin Scorcher Radial tires, which are more focused on on-road grip and handling. 

Additionally, the ST version was kitted out with a lowered seat, a street-style front fender, a slightly smaller windshield, and a smaller front wheel.

For ride quality and handling, the model uses a 47 mm inverted front fork and a linkage-mounted rear monoshock. Both feature manually adjustable compression and rebound damping, but only the rear suspension has automatic electronic preload control. 

Like the standard Pan America, the Pan America 1250 ST uses a 1,250-cubic-centimeter (cc) Revolution Max engine with double overhead cams (DOHC), variable valve timing, and hydraulic self-adjusting lifters. 

At maximum, the Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 ST can produce up to 149 horsepower and 129 Newton-meters of torque. Peak power is achieved at 8,750 revolutions per minute (rpm), whereas peak torque is reached at 6,750 rpm.

Feeding gasoline into the Pan America 1250 ST’s engine is an electronic sequential port injection fuel system. It likewise uses a mechanical eight-plate wet-type clutch (with quickshifter) and a six-speed transmission. 

For stopping power, the model depends on hub-mounted dual rotor front and radially-mounted rear brakes. It also has anti-lock braking, torque slip control, vehicle hold control, a security system, and drag-torque slip control as standard. 

Additionally, the all-new Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 ST gets a color TFT display with voice recognition, text-to-speed functionality, and Bluetooth connectivity. The aforementioned goes along with the usual vehicle data displays for engine temperatures, battery voltage, and ambient air temperature. 

Other notable convenience features present on the Pan America 1250 ST include:

Pricing, colors

As indicated on the Harley-Davidson of Manila website, the all-new Pan America 1250 ST starts at P1.192 million. Its available colors are Billiard Grey, Vivid Black, and Brilliant Red.
