LTO issues SCOs vs identified participants in BOSS Ironman Cup
Violations include overspeeding, unauthorized use of blinkers
MANILA: The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has released a pair of show cause orders on identified rider-participants of the recently-held BOSS (BMW Owners Society of Safe Riders) Ironman Mindanao Cup.

Meanwhile, the second order cited evidence of reckless driving, obstruction of traffic, improper person to operate a motor vehicle, disregard for mandated vehicle handling protocols, property damage, and injuries to pedestrians and bystanders.
Following the release of the orders, all directed riders need submit their verified or sworn explanations before the LTO-Intelligence and Investigation Division (IID) and along with original supporting documents. Failure to comply will be deemed waiver of their rights to respond, and the LTO will proceed with its investigation. Riders may be assisted by legal counsel during proceedings.

“These violations serve as a critical reminder that all motor vehicle-related events must adhere strictly to regulatory requirements, and we will take necessary administrative action to prevent recurrence. Our priority will always be to ensure our roads are safe for everyone,” he added.
