Maxim Rides and Food delivery starts moto taxi service in Batangas City

MANILA: Maxim Rides and Food Delivery has started Batangas City’s first-ever motorcycle ride-hailing service.

In a statement, the company noted that the formal launch was made last December 17 and was attended by Maxim Batangas Head Mark Jazpher Dinglasan, company officials, and local government representatives.

During his presentation, Dinglasan highlighted Maxim’s commitment to safe, professional transport.

According to him, the service comes with a minimum fare to ensure affordable trips even during heavy traffic conditions. The platform, he noted, provides an opportunity for motorcycle owners to earn additional income by joining as driver-partners.

On the other hand, Maxim Rides and Food Delivery President Andres Morales, Jr. expressed gratitude to the Land Transportation Office, the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board, the local government, and other authorities for their support in the aforementioned push.

In starting the service in the area, the company has 30 individuals that comprise the initial batch of driver-partners. According to Maxim, the drivers showcased safety maneuvers and responsible riding practices during the hands-on presentation, which reflects the “comprehensive training they completed to meet Maxim’s strict safety and service standards.”

“Maxim is more than just a ride – it’s about care, trust, and comfort,” Dinglasan said. “We are proud to be the first legal Moto Taxi operator in Batangas, offering residents a modern mobility option while providing new earning opportunities for our driver-partners.”

Started in Cebu back in 2020, Maxim is now present in 18 cities within the archipelago.
