Yamaha Motor PH comes up strong with latest campaign

MANILA: Yamaha Motor Philippines, Incorporated (YMPH) is coming up strong with its latest campaign that is already causing quite a stir online and on-site.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • When is Yamaha Motor Philippines' program for its latest campaign kicking off?

Yamaha Motor Philippines' program for its newest campaign is set to kick off on February 20, 2026, 7 p.m. via Facebook live.
  • Where did Yamaha Motor Philippines deploy billboards for its latest campaign?

The billboards for Yamaha Motor Philippines latest campaign were deployed in Cagayan de Oro, Davao, EDSA Avenue, and Lipa, Batangas.
  • The brand’s official distributor announced its next program through its official Facebook page Wednesday evening.

“Something defying is coming this FEBRUARY 20, 7PM via Facebook LIVE!  Watch it unfold.  #YamahaPH,” the company noted in the social media post. This earned the attention of many of its followers.

Aside from that, Zigwheels Philippines also came across the company’s banner photo that featured the same shift lines that partly hid the previous promotion at the back.

     Other stories:

“Get ready for what’s coming,” the caption of the photo (posted last Monday) noted.

Both posts received varying speculations such as the distributor might be bringing in new models, as well as additional trims, or color options for existing products.

Aside from that, Yamaha Club Philippines group page also carried the same visuals on its cover and profile photos.

“Old rules are out. We define what’s next. #MoreThanJustARide #YamahaPH,” the post – which earned the attention of the NMax Club Philippines, Fazzio Club Philippines, and Aerox Brotherhood Society – stated.

But the noise of the campaign did not end there.

Recently, several billboards around the country — particularly in Cagayan de Oro, Davao, along Epifanio delos Santos Avenue, and Lipa, Batangas — were seen carrying Blue distorted lines, which partly hid items seen in past campaigns.

Last weekend, similar shift lines also popped up at the SM Mall of Asia globe last weekend that showed a seemingly error message. It stated:

“An error occurred. To continue: Press Enter to restore default settings, or CTRL + ALT + D to proceed without limits. This action cannot be undone and may alter how you operate permanently.”

However, the last two lines in the same advertising material carried the following notes:

    • Error code: 0xDefy
    • Live mode: Enable

At the time of posting, YMPH has yet to issue a statement regarding these sightings.

What do you think is the YMPH’s new campaign all about?
