For a brutish-looking pickup truck, you’d be surprised to see just how comfortable and refined the Changan Nevo Hunter K50 REEV’s cabin is. The 4x4 trim features PVC leather seats, while the 4x2 variant gets the fabric and PVC combination. Regardless of the material, its seats are well-padded and provide great cushioning and ergonomics for all passengers. This variant utilizes an all-wheel drivetrain. On the other hand, the base trim, 4x2 Knight, is powered by a single motor that produces 174 hp of power and 320 Nm of torque. This variant utilizes a rear-wheel drivetrain. 

Both variants’ electric powertrains are paired with a 31.18 kWh Lithium-Ion battery pack that delivers a CLTC EV range of 180 km. Additionally, both variants also get a 2L turbocharged BlueCore range extender. The combination of the battery pack and the range extender results in an impressive 1,031-km comprehensive range for this model line. Both 4x4 and 4x2 variants come with Eco and Sport driving modes. However, only the higher trim gets Comfort, Towing, Custom, Crawl, Snow, Mud, Sand, and Off-road. This truck runs on a fixed gear transmission system. 

With all of these in mind, both variants can overtake slower vehicles on free-flowing highways. However, if you are going for more punch and exhilaration out on the open road, then the 4x4 variant is definitely the better option. In the city, this pickup truck delivers great efficiency, making it a feasible driver for your daily city commute. And, on top of this, it is very quiet and relaxing inside the cabin even when you are cruising at higher speeds thanks to its top-notch NVH suppression system.

The Changan Nevo Hunter K50 REEV is equipped with driving assistance features such as a 540-degree view camera system, a 360-degree dashcam, cruise control, and lane departure warning. It also comes with a long list of standard safety and security features.

This pickup truck comes with four-wheel disc brakes. Its braking setup is supported by an anti-lock braking system with electronic brakeforce distribution, lateral stability control, traction control system, brake assist, hill hold and descent controls, as well as an emergency brake warning system among others.

The Changan Nevo Hunter K50 REEV is a solid choice for consumers who are looking for a mid-size pickup truck that is durable and capable on the outside, but very refined and comfortable on the inside.
