Dodge, the Fast and Furious marque is known for its impeccable drives. However, no drive justifies these lines more than the flagship, Dodge Challenger. The drive is meant to rule the roads, it is an amalgamation of retro looks with high-end technological advancements. Challenger is nothing like a traditional curvy European coupé, it is big, it is bad and it is meant for rough road use. However, on the inside, albeit with loud styling, Challenger feels amazingly comfortable. It doesn't compete with BMW M5 in terms of speed on smooth roads, but come any other surface, Challenger is a sure leader.

    Interior & Features

Get in and the cockpit will dominate with its styling. The cabin looks all plush with excellent fit & finish and even the gray and tan color theme looks fabulous. The Challenger is presented with a 7-inch configurable digital screen in the instrument panel in an iconic style and grace. The room inside too will not give you any chance to complain and it offers a considerable cargo volume of 459 liters with all seats in duty. The leather-wrapped steering wheel with depth adjustment and audio controls lets you feel its incredible craftsmanship over the drive. Since it is a Challenger, tech features are not something that you should expect. Precisely, it has an 8.4-inch touchscreen U-Connect infotainment that serves the buyer with all connectivity and multimedia features.

Wide, long, and sensibly aggressive. The Challenger dominates with all masculine appeal that it molds around the shoulders. 20-inch wheels framed out of graphite or lightweight forged aluminum looks promising for a composed ride and those halo DRL fringed headlamps looks threating. Further, the diffuser at the bottom contributes as a silent fabricator, but its purpose is aerodynamics. It has a panoramic sunroof which lets you familiarize with the sky and moving to rear, the sporty spoiler on the boot lid looks sharp. Moreover, the diffuser also adds some sporty instincts to the car.

    Engine & Fuel Consumption

The Challenger gets a 3.6-litre, 6-cylinder engine mated to an automatic transmission that produces a max power of 305 hp at 6350 rpm and a peak torque of 363 Nm at 4800 rpm. However, an incredible value is blown up by the higher variant HELLCAT that has a 6.2-litre supercharged V8 mill mated to an 8-Speed Auto Transmission with paddle shifters. It churns out a whopping power of 707 hp at 6000 rpm and a humongous torque of 881 Nm at 4000 rpm. Wow! That figure itself is alluring.

    Braking Safety

A smart planner to say, it mends for your impending accidents and unexpected events to befall you, keeping you in safe stance with crumpled zones front and rear to absorb impact energy. It has electronics features such as traction control, Brake Assist, and ESC that keeps the car in control. With innumerable features like the Blind spot monitoring system, rearview camera lead, lane change assist and surround airbags, you feel secure being inside. Though the icing on the cake is the 6-Caliper Brembo brakes that makes a quick 100-0 possible in a minimal time period.
