The 2024 Nissan Z, the latest iteration in the long-standing Z-car legacy, revs into the Philippine market, presenting an enticing blend of power and heritage. Positioned as a dynamic sports coupe, its arrival marks a competitive leap in the local performance car scene, challenging rivals like the Toyota Supra and Ford Mustang GT Coupe. The all-new Nissan Z inherits the spirit of iconic Z Cars while embracing modern aesthetics, flaunting a 240Z-inspired grille and signature LED headlights.
Available in both automatic and manual transmissions, the all-new 2024 Z was launched back at the beginning of September this year, alongside the all-new Nissan GT-R. The 2024 Nissan Z, elevates excitement with its new 3.0-liter turbo engine. Offering two variants, Premium MT and Premium AT, the Z comes in vibrant hues like Ikazuchi Yellow and Passion Red.

Nissan Z Interior & Features
Crafted for pure driving pleasure, the cabin of the new Z boasts premium leather seats with synthetic-suede inserts and a leather-wrapped steering wheel, delivering comfort and control in equal measure. Iconic styling elements like the three hooded dials (Center-Mounted Boost, Turbo Fan Speed, and Battery Volt Meter) on the digital instrument cluster pay homage to its heritage while embracing modern technology. It gets a 12" Full TFT meter with Customizable Display Modes.
A number of other advanced tech features amplify the driving experience. These include a Bose Premium Audio System engineered for the car's cabin shape, Active Noise Cancellation, and Nissan Intelligent Key for added convenience. The seamless integration of technology, like push-button ignition and the NissanConnect infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Seats are also very comfortable and premium with Sport Seats that get Power Slide and Recline Adjustment features, as well as driver-side lumbar support.
Nissan Z Exterior
The design and styling of the all-new Nissan Z epitomize a perfect blend of heritage and modernity. Its profile, defined by a long, low hood and a swept-back rear hatch, exudes a timeless appeal spanning five decades. The exterior is unmistakably Z, with a 240Z-inspired grille, iconic headlights, and taillights that grant it a distinctive road presence.
The lighting setup consists of Full LED Headlamps with a projector-type beam and Welcome signature as well as Auto On-Off and Automatic High Beam (AHB) features. The new Z also gets DRLs with the signature Z LED. It also comes with a full LED double ring 3D signature type LED tail lamp. Door mirrors are power adjustable and power folding with LED turn signal indicators painted in body color.
Boasting an athletic stance, the Z also gets a front under spoiler and side sill spoiler integrated into the design as well as a sporty rear spoiler. Last but not the least, the dual exhaust system finisher and the massive 19” RAYS forged alloy wheels, contribute to its aggressive yet elegant demeanour. The car's overall dimensions of 4,380 x 1,845 x 1,315 mm (L x W x H) and a wheelbase of 2550 mm, are carefully crafted for optimal performance and practicality in all kinds of driving conditions.
Nissan Z Ride & Handling
The all-new Nissan Z achieves a harmonious balance between agility and stability, boasting a curb weight of 1,600 kg (MT variant and 1,647 kg (AT variant) that optimizes its handling dynamics. The all-new Nissan Z is equipped with a front suspension featuring a Double-Wishbone Aluminum Alloy, optimizing agility and responsiveness, complemented by a Rear Multi-Link Aluminum Alloy and Steel setup for balanced handling. Integrated Stabilizer Bars enhance stability during maneuvers, ensuring a smooth ride.
Fitted with 19" x 9.5" Dark Gray Metallic Forged-Alloy Wheels by RAYS® in the front and 19" x 10" Dark Gray Metallic Forged-Alloy Wheels by RAYS® in the rear, paired with 255/40 R19 front and 275/35 R19 rear tires, the Z ensures exceptional grip and traction. The vehicle's ground clearance of 126 mm combines with Vehicle-Speed-Sensitive Electric Power Steering (EPS) for precise handling and a connected driving experience.

The transmission options cater to distinct driving preferences, offering a six-speed manual transmission with auto rev-matching or a nine-speed automatic with manual mode and paddle shifters.
With a fuel tank capacity of 62 litres and 95 Octane petrol, the Z delivers commendable efficiency thanks to its direct injection fuel system.
Nissan Z Braking & Safety
The all-new Nissan Z boasts impressive stopping power with its Nissan Sport Brakes—a setup that includes 4-piston 14" ventilated discs in the front and 2-piston 13.8" ventilated discs in the rear. It also gets a set of robust safety features, including an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) for precise and efficient braking.
Additionally, it's equipped with an Advanced SRS Airbag System with driver, passenger, side, and Side curtain airbags. Key safety features such as Blind Spot Warning (BSW), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), and Hill Start Assist (HSA).
