Recent Updates of Honda Mobilio

One of the most popular choices in the compact seven-seater MPV segment has been updated in 2017 with revised styling and several new features. This brings it up to date with the design of the new Honda cars. This year the Mobilio lineup received a beautified limited edition Premium version.

Honda sells the Mobilio in three different variants, all with the same engine. That engine is a 1.5-litre 4 cylinder inline 4 unit producing 120 PS and 145 Nm of torque. The standard model can be had with a 5-speed manual while the other two are available with an Earth Dreams CVT transmission. The top of the line RS Navi variant is a sportier take on the MPV and comes with its own distinct styling. However, competition has intensified in the segment a lot over the years and the Mobilio has a tough road ahead of it, with its slightly dated features.

Overview

The Philippines is experiencing a tremendous growth in the MPV segment and this has encouraged various automakers to bring their MPVs to this market. Honda is not a new name in the Philippines automotive market and has been appreciated for its sumptuous fleet with cutting-edge technology. Keeping the same traits in mind, the automaker launched its Mobilio MPV in the year 2001 and since then there was no need to look back. The manufacturer gave modifications and tweaks to this MPV over the years to keep it updated and as per the needs of the customers. The stylish MPV has a close rivalry with Suzuki Ertiga and Toyota Avanza in its segment.

Interior & Features

Honda has designed its Mobilio keeping the comfort and convenience of the occupants in mind. The ergonomic layout of this MPV ensures that there is enough space for all the 7 passengers even if they have to travel to lengths. The crisp creases all over the side and front profile gives a sporty touch to this family MPV. Dark side pillars and uplifted rear add more towards the aesthetics of this car. Driving myself the Mobilio way

Honda has always been my favorite brand and it didn’t really disappoint me with Honda Mobilio either. The car’s engine and chassis, coupled up with a great fuel efficiency make this a fun drive.
