For years I have driven diesel-powered people carriers. But lately, with stricter emission rules and rising fuel costs, I started looking out for PHEVs. That’s when I was introduced by my brother to the Kaiyi X7. What attracted me was its seven-seat layout and size, but what convinced me was the hybrid system that easily delivers up to 1,200 kilometers of total range. This means I can do two weeks of commuting without the need to fill up. During a dealer walkaround, I fell in love with the quality of the materials and ambient lighting.
