The Lexus ES will not steal away the majority of Mercedes E-Class or BMW 5 Series customers, but it does offer a nice alternative that will definitely appeal to customers. A shift of focus of the buyers to hybrid technology will definitely work in its favour, while the renowned ownership experience of Lexus will make the shift to this vehicle easier. Practicality can be a concern with the Lexus ES, because while it can accommodate four adults, the taller ones may not feel very comfortable in the backseat because of the coupe-like roofline. It’s a true saloon because its boot comes with a pronounced loading lip and a small boot opening.
