All-new Lexus ES to debut at Auto Shanghai 2025

MANILA: The all-new Lexus ES is set to make its debut at the ujpcoming Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition (Auto Shanghai). 

Toyota’s luxury division noted that the all-new Lexus ES is a global core model that “refines advanced electrification technologies and pursues further evolution of its hallmark quietness and ride comfort.” 

Lexus has released a teaser image showing some of the unique design elements of the all-new ES prior to the model’s premiere. 

Based on the picture, the all-new Lexus ES boasts a fastback body type with a streamlined design. The fascia appears to be flat and is fitted with the typical sharp-looking headlamps found on the brand’s offerings. The rear seems to have a built-in spoiler and a robust bumper, which the author suspects to have similar design cues as the front fascia. 

The full specifications of the all-new Lexus ES will be revealed at Auto Shanghai, which will take place from April 23 to May 2, 2025. 

Lexus ES in PH 

The Lexus ES is available here in the Philippines via the marque’s local subsidiary. 

Sold in three variants, all models use a hybrid electric powertrain with an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission. The said system is able to dish out the following numbers: 

• 215 horsepower 
• 221 Newton meters
