The Lotus Emira’s cabin is arguably one of the most stylish and sophisticated of its kind. The Lotus Emira model line offers two powertrain options. First, the Base and First Edition (non-V6) variants are powered by a 2L, 16-valve, V4 engine that produces a maximum power output of 365 hp and a maximum torque of 430 Nm. These variants can go from 0 to 100 kmph in just 4.4 seconds.

On the other hand, the V6 and V6 First Edition variants are powered by a 3.5L, 24-valve, V6 engine that offers 405 hp of power and 420 Nm of torque. These variants can go from 0 to 100 kmph in just 4.3 seconds.

The First Edition variants run on an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission system (DCT), while the Base and V6 (Non-First Edition) variants run on six-speed manual or automatic transmission. All variants have a top speed of 290 kmph.

Regardless of the engine type, this sports car is impeccably quick off the line. Its transmission is very smooth and responsive, enhancing your overall experience out on the open road. On the highway, it can effortlessly pass through slower vehicles. In the city, if you worry about high fuel consumption and costs, then this car might not be for you. But, then again, it is a sports car geared towards high-performance, after all.

In terms of safety, the Lotus Emira model line comes with front parking sensors, front impact beams, front and rear side airbags, door ajar warning, a crash sensor, tyre pressure monitoring, and a rear camera among others. This sports car comes with ventilated discs for front and rear braking.
