Maserati MC20

The Maserati MC20 is being offered with an all-black (Nero) cabin wrapped in Alcantara leather upholstery as standard. However, the buyers can choose one from ten different trim levels and contrast stitching. The cabin of the Maserati MC20 looks minimalist and simple, but exudes quality of a high order, with the layout having a driver-centric appeal.

The driver’s cockpit of the Maserati MC20 has a flat-bottom sports steering wheel with paddle shifters and a full-TFT instrument console, which has sleek-looking AC vents on both sides. The centre console is dominated by the presence of a large rectangular touchscreen infotainment system, while the co-passenger side of the dashboard also has AC vents integrated into it.

The front seats of the Maserati MC20 have a slim tunnel between them, which have minimalist-looking knobs and buttons for various functions. Like the exterior, the cabin of the Maserati MC20 can also be garnished with carbon fibre finishes for panels and components like paddle shifters, door sills and cluster caps.

Like a traditional Italian supercar, the Maserati MC20 ticks off all the boxes when it comes to design and visual appeal. This two-door sports car from Maserati has a swooping aerodynamic design, which looks fast even when the car is at a standstill. Maserati offers the MC20 in a total of 29 colour options, including solid, metallic and Fuoriserie shades.  

At the front, the Maserati MC20 has a very aerodynamic appeal with curves running over the bonnet, smoothly-contoured humps on the sides and air passages integrated into the profile of the bonnet. The car’s all-LED headlamps are placed on the lower edges of the side humps, which also house daytime running LEDs. The Maserati MC20 also has a wide-looking front bumper, which houses the traditional round-themed grille in the middle with the iconic Trident logo in the middle and air curtains to its sides.

The side profile of the Maserati MC20 is equally scintillating to look at, with the design of the front and rear fenders and door panels having aerodynamic appeal to them. The fenders here integrate air curtains within them, while the doors of the Maserati MC20 open upwards like a range-topping Lamborghini supercar. These door panels come attached with beautifully contoured rearview mirrors on, while one has the option to choose from five types of 20-inch alloy wheels.

At the back, the Maserati MC20 has smooth curves over the rear fenders, which flow aerodynamically towards the boot, with the heavily raked windscreen floating towards the boot to give it a true-blue coupe appeal. The MC20 has sleek-looking LED tail lamps laid out horizontally, with the sports car also getting a massive sporty diffuser and dual exhaust ports in the middle of its rear bumper. As an option, one can configure the exhaust tips, front splitter, rear diffuser and door and wing sills in a full carbon fibre theme.

The Maserati MC20 is 4669mm long, 2178mm wide and 1224 mm tall while having a wheelbase of 2700mm. These dimensions give the MC20 a wide and planted stance, which along with the drive modes like GT, Sport, Corsa, ESC-off and Wet, give the MC20 a sure-footed stance even at higher speeds. The sports suspension and carbon fibre monocoque frame of the MC20 further aid in its dynamic driving experience and impeccable grip and traction levels.

The only powertrain combination offered by Maserati in the MC20 supercar is a high-revving 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged Nettuno V6 petrol engine with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. This new-generation twin-turbo V6 engine claims 630 PS of maximum power and 730 Nm of maximum torque and enables the Maserati MC20 to attain a top speed of 320 kmph and cover the 0-100 kmph sprint in 2.9 seconds.

The Maserati MC20 has a basic safety equipment list, consisting of front and side airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors and camera and a high beam assist.
