ZEEKR 7X

Upon entering the Zeekr 7X, you’ll be greeted by an abundance of premium soft-touch materials around the vehicle. Its higher trim gets Nappa full-grain top layer leather seats, while the lower trim gets the soft polyurethane counterparts. But, regardless of the material, this SUV’s seats provide impressive cushioning and ergonomics, ensuring that everyone on board is very comfortable even on longer trips. You also have loads of room both in the front and second rows. However, the second row seats’ high headrests slightly disrupt the driver’s rear visibility. 

For entertainment and information accessibility, this EV comes with a 16-inch 3.5K mini-LED central infotainment screen that offers wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as a 4-zone voice command. The higher trim’s infotainment display is linked to a 21-speaker Zeekr Sound Pro audio system, while the lower trim gets the 10-speaker Zeekr regular audio system. Meanwhile, drivers have access to a 13.02-inch HD cockpit cluster, a leather steering wheel with heating and power adjustment, and a 36.21-inch heads-up display (exclusive to higher trim owners).

In terms of dimensions, the Zeekr 7X model line measures 4,787 mm in length, 1,930 mm in width, and 1,650 mm in height. This SUV has a 2,900 mm wheelbase, a front minimum ground clearance of 173 mm, and a rear minimum ground clearance of 172 mm.

The Zeekr 7X features a smart, hypermodern design, which the brand calls as the “Hidden Energy” exterior philosophy. It appears sporty and elegant at the same time. It has a unique front end illuminated by futuristic-looking LED headlamps and DRLs. 

On the sides, its premium two-toned silhouette is accentuated by blacked-out window trims, wheel arches, and side skirts. It comes with frameless automatic doors with hidden handles for more modernity. The higher trim, AWD Performance, runs on dynamic-looking 20-inch wheels with a multi-spoke hub, while the RWD Long Range gets the 19-inch counterparts.

Aside from these, its futuristic personality carries over to its rear courtesy of its LED taillamp, which follows a sleek light strip architecture, along with a running turning tail lamp. It comes with a power liftgate with an opening angle memory feature for easier loading and unloading of cargo. At night, its overall appearance is further enhanced by an RGB dynamic ambient lighting system.

Both variants of the Zeekr 7X utilize a suspension combination of a Double Wishbone at the front and a Multi-Link at the rear. But, only the higher trim also gets a single chamber air suspension system and a continuous control damping system. Regardless of the suspension setup, both variants deliver a plush riding experience. But, the higher trim is more off-road capable thanks to its air suspension. Despite its SUV build, this model line is pretty nimble to maneuver even through bumper-to-bumper traffic. Overall, you and your passengers can enjoy a very relaxing experience inside this EV.

The higher trim, AWD Performance, runs on dual electric motors that generate a peak power of 475 kW and a peak torque of 710 Nm. On the other hand, the lower trim, RWD Long Range, runs on a single electric motor, which generates a peak power of 310 kW and a peak torque of 440 Nm. 

Both variants are powered by a 100 kWh battery pack that is tuned differently for each. The higher trim’s battery pack delivers an NEDC driving range of 635 km, while the lower trim’s boasts a whopping 730-km NEDC driving range. Both offer a direct current (in 800V) fast charging time of 10% to 80% in just 15 minutes. The higher trim utilizes an all-wheel drivetrain, whereas the lower trim uses rear-wheel drive.

Taking all of these into consideration, both variants can deliver exceptional touring capability and thrilling performance on the road. If you prioritize range over power and speed, then the RWD Long Range is definitely more suited to your needs. But, if you are a spirited driver seeking an exhilarating cruising experience on the open road, then the AWD Performance is, without a doubt, the one for you.

In terms of safety, both variants of the Zeekr 7X are equipped with multiple active and passive safety systems. This model line comes with the brand’s “Mobileye 12V1RADAS Solution”, which offers 15 key ADAS functions along with a 360-degree surrounding view camera, Sentry mode, adaptive cruise control with lane centering control, auto lane change, autonomous parking assist, and a DMS driver monitoring system. This SUV utilizes an IPB intelligent integrated braking system.
