The Aprilia Tuareg 660 wears its dual-sport character with confidence. It’s bold yet functional. The tall, tubular-steel frame features narrow bodywork and creases for leg grip, and echoes Dakar-style adventure bikes. Up front, the bug-eyed headlight assembly is distinctive, though some riders may miss a beak-type extension. The bike gets all-around LED lighting. The windshield is tall and effective, keeping wind off the rider while retaining off-road practicality. A clean navigation tower behind the headlight holds the 5.0-inch color screen that offers a crisp, readable display. The motorcycle runs on aluminium-spoked tubeless wheels (21-inch front and 18″-inch rear), wrapped in Pirelli Scorpion Rally tires that reinforces its off-road intent while remaining street-friendly. The Aprilia Tuareg 660 gets fully adjustable 43mm KYB forks and rear KYB shock absorber with 240mm travel. It’s adjustable for compression/rebound/preload. The stock damping is pleasantly compliant but can feel slightly stiff on rough terrain, tweaking compression adds comfort. The easy-to-reach preload knob is praiseworthy and great when adding luggage or passenger. On city roads, the bike’s narrow ergonomics and 860mm seat make slow-speed manoeuvres and traffic weaving effortless. The seat is modestly cushioned but supportive and is narrow enough for off-road stance, and comfortable for shorter commuting. The suspension provides a compliant ride over potholes or kerbs, soaking up urban roughness without being harsh. On highways, powerful wind protection and cruise control make long-trip blasts enjoyable. The chassis is predictable, offering high-speed stability and minimal wobble even over imperfect pavement. The suspension handles fast sweepers with agility and grip, though adding a compression click would have reduced dive when braking. On open roads, the Aprilia Tuareg 660 transforms into a stable, comfortable tourer, though dialling in suspension settings enhances feel and limits the dive. Minor improvements may include suspension tuning for smoother bump absorption and optimizing front brake firmness. Overall ride comfort and handling are standout strengths.

The Aprilia Tuareg 660 is equipped with a parallel-twin, liquid-cooled, 659cc engine that produces 80PS/70Nm. The engine is mated to a six-speed transmission. Engine modifications include cam changes and 270° crank, offering smooth, linear throttle response and strong tractability, with less 75 percent torque available below 3,000rpm. Though not hyper sport-focused, the Aprilia Tuareg 660 offers a satisfying, comfortable off-road and relaxed performance on tarmac. A stronger low-end punch or optional larger sprocket would have enhances its trail ability. The motorcycle can hit 100mph effortlessly in the Explore mode. The Aprilia Tuareg 660’s front wheels is equipped with dual 300mm Brembo disc brakes and four-piston callipers. The lever feel is smooth and progressive, with strong braking power both on-road and off-road. The rear wheel uses a single 260mm Brembo disc and one-piston calliper. The bike comes with switchable and cornering antilock braking.
