Practical yet surprising track potential
I recently took the Honda Winner X out for some laps, and I was really very impressed. Even though the bike was stock without rear sets, the 149cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine proved its capability. It offered responsive and smooth power delivery. The initial torque made acceleration fun, and on open straights, it reached speeds north of 100kph easily. Handling was quite good; the motorcycle stayed stable in corners, though when leaning aggressively, the footpegs scraped. After five full laps, I knew it was not just practical for city riding, but for a 150cc underbone, it also had surprising track potential.
