Thrilling on open roads, tough in traffic
Riding the MV-Agusta F3 800 in the city can be tedious, especially with its aggressive gearing and loud exhaust note, but that is part of its true sports machine character. Once I get away from traffic and hit the countryside, the way this bike performs is something that is hard to explain. The riding modes have proven to be a blessing. I usually start in the mildest setting to warm up my reflexes and the tires, then as the roads open up, shift upward. The power comes on in a very nice way, each gear pulling cleanly. The engine braking allows me to maintain control in tighter corners.
