  • About MV Agusta Philippines

An Italian motorcycle brand, known for its sporty design and special riding features, MV Agusta or Meccanica Verghera Agusta was founded in 1945. The term Meccanica stands for mechanic and Verghera is the town where the first MV motorcycles were made.

The company has been a brand, significant for its motorcycles and was established by the Agusta brothers by the dawn of Second World War. The company was not always meant to be a motorcycle brand but was set as a spin-off of the Agusta Aviation company led by their father.

MV Agusta’s first prototype unit was called the “Vespa 98” in 1945. The motorcycle had its name due to the power and displacement it had to offer. Soon enough, the company also introduced the market to a wide range of small-displacement, cafe racer-style motorcycles, raging through the time period of the 1950s and 1960s.

At the time of its manufacturing, the brand made its name for producing 125cc to 150cc motorcycles until MV Agusta tapped into bigger displacements when sales began to drop. This marked the beginning of the brand’s start-up which began as an Italian motorcycle manufacturer that began its movement by taking participation in tracks and evolvement in the tracks.

The company’s first big accomplishment was winning the Italian Grand Prix with the help of their 125cc two-stroke motorcycle, rode by their rider Franco Bertoni. It was the winning at Grad Prix that gave the MV brand, recognition on a global scale.

The brand made its impact in the Philippines in early 2013, however, the Italian motorcycle failed to make its impact in the Philipino market. MV Augusta later re-launched itself in the market in the month of April 2019. The “rebirth” included a new partnership with local distributor Motostrada.

Today, MV Agusta is widely known for its beautiful motorcycles in the larger displacement class. Its current offerings in the Philippines are the Brutale 800, F4 100, F3 800 and 365, Turismo Veloce 800, and Dragster 800.

    • Love the aggressive styling and triple exhaust

Motorcycles are all about attitude and this motorcycle comes with loads of in your face boldness, which I absolutely love. While the overall design looks quite tame, it is the exhausts that steal the show. The extra on that part of the design is my favorite thing about this motorcycle. Apart from that the design is very smooth and even

I am new to this city and after a thorough market introspection I could decide on a bike ultimately on last month. I have gone for mv-agusta brutale-800. • Ideal adventure touring bike meant for long distance hauls

If you ask me about the bike that I consider to be the best choice as an adventure touring model, then it is none other than mv-agusta turismo-veloce. The riding posture of the model will first melt your heart for being so cozy. The model is nicely accessorized with an adjustable sport touring windscreen. The bike is in fact brimming

    • These people know how to design a motorcycle

The Rush from MV Agusta looks nothing short of a monster at first glance. With its significantly high ride height and big bold design, this motorcycle is not for the faint hearted. I hadn’t heard of MV Agusta much in the past, but after seeing this motorcycle on the streets one day, I knew I had to have it too.

    • Heavy clutch, tendency to run hot

The MV Agusta Dragster 800 has many notable drawbacks making it an unappealing choice. Its tendency to run hot, stiff suspension, and sensitive throttle make navigating through traffic very uncomfortable. The clutch is heavy adding to the strain. For inexperienced riders or daily commuting, this bike is a bad choice due to its challenging characteristics. But if you’re on the
