Suzuki Smash FI

The Suzuki Smash FI model line measures 1,910 mm in length, 690 mm in width, 1,085 mm in height, and 755 mm in seat height. It has a 1,220 mm wheelbase and a 145 mm ground clearance. Both variants run on 17-inch wheels. The higher trim gets coloured mags for a more premium, sporty touch, while the lower trim gets regular spokes.

At the front, the Suzuki Smash FI sports a bright and wider-range halogen headlight, which offers top-notch illumination at night. It also gets indicator lights for more visibility on the road. The rider gets a highly visible sporty meter panel that is still reliable and functional but a bit dated for current standards. 

For an entry-level bike, it comes with a well-padded dual straight seat that provides good cushioning and support for both the rider and pillion–ensuring that the two are in a relaxed position even on long-distance rides. The Suzuki Smash FI model line is powered by a 113 cc, 4-stroke, 1-cylinder, SOHC, 2-valve engine that produces a maximum power output of 6.9 kW and a maximum torque of 9.10 Nm. It runs on a 4-speed constant mesh (manual) transmission gearbox.

This underbone motorcycle’s engine delivers a decent pull on the road, which many novice riders will find exciting. For an entry-level bike, its transmission system is smooth and responsive. But, what the Smash FI does best is deliver outstanding efficiency. Despite having a fuel tank capacity of only 3.7L, it achieves great fuel economy numbers thanks to its very frugal consumption. In terms of safety, the Suzuki Smash FI is equipped with a shutter lock and a pass switch. The higher variant comes with a front disc brake, while the lower variant gets the drum counterpart. Both variants utilize rear drum brakes.
