Toyota and its drives at SEMA 2016

Toyota grabbed many eyeballs at the 2016 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show with its 30 vehicles but, the ones that got the maximum attention were the cars that honored the past, explored the present or revealed the extreme. Among such cars, there were also some exceptions that had a combination of all three elements and we have listed down those for you to have a look on.

Toyota Land Speed Cruiser

 

The SUV which is tagged as the ‘fastest SUV’ is treated with Twin Garrett turbos under the hood for an unmatchable experience. These turbos are breathing in a might 5.7-litre Toyota V8 engine that delivers a whopping 2,000 hp maximum power and mind you, this is not a typo, Toyota has really evolved Land Cruiser into a mean machine. Everything that can lead to better aerodynamics has been refined and due to which the SUV can clock a top speed of 354 kmph.

Toyota Xtreme Corolla

 

We all know Corolla for its elegance and comfort but, the Xtreme Corolla is a four-door sexy coupe. The features that make it one of its kind include two-tone colour paint, clean lines, tyres, custom interior, Sparco seats, a JBL sound system, turbo engine, and a six-speed manual.

Toyota Extreme Sienna.

With Extreme Sienna, Toyota has changed the styling rules of a wagon. The performance wheels and tyres, a splitter, rear diffuser, spoiler and dual exhaust makes it stand parallel to a performance car. Inside it will strike you with high-end luxury, which is not often witnessed in a wagon of its class. The Extreme Sienna is controlled by an iPad, including the air ride system and the car is not just to please you but, will deliver a pleasant experience on the road as well.

Toyota Motorsport GmBH GT86 CS-Cup

The CS-Cup version is based on the updated 2017 Toyota 86 and the Toyota has unveiled it for the first time in the US. The car is specially designed for a one-make overseas series and was showcased at the show to inspire, excite and innovate. The livery pays homage to Toyota’s racing heritage with a cool retro red and white design while the aero package looks brilliant along with helping in sticking the car to the road.

Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro Race Truck

When it comes to pushing the limit, the Tacoma TRD Pro Race Truck does it easily. Apart from SEMA 2016 show, Toyota is also planning to introduce this beast in “The Great American Off-Road Race” - the MINT 400. The manufacturer has not decided the driver for this pickup yet but, it is likely that we will be witnessing Tacoma TRD battling against the other competent trucks in the race.

Corolla 50th Anniversary Display

 

Apart from the scintillating drives, Toyota also showcased the 11 generations of its much acclaimed Corolla in order to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the car in an effective manner.
