What makes the Changan CS95 SUV ‘powerful to the core’

The successful comeback of Changan in the local market a few months ago was heralded by five models, including the brand's promising seven-seater SUV, the Changan CS95.

Changan blends power and class to achieve the CS95’s dashing exterior look. Accentuating the SUV’s sleekness are bold 19-inch alloy wheels and a panoramic sunroof.  It is available in four classic body colors: gray, black, brown, or white with black roof. For better visibility, the Changan CS95 is equipped with LED headlamps and daytime running lights.

The SUV offers a host of intelligent features. The CS95 uses a power tailgate system that lets you access the trunk space without any fuss. The vehicle is also equipped with an engine remote start feature which allows you to warm up the engine and switch on the air-conditioning system even when you’re outside the vehicle.

The seven-seat SUV provides a commodious interior, which is made more stylish by classy Nappa leather seats. The CS95 uses Changan’s advanced tri-zone automatic air-conditioning system with high-grade anti-viral air filter that provides the same filtration level as that of an N95 mask.

The SUV features a minimalist yet modern cockpit, which is highlighted by a 10.25-inch liquid crystal display (LCD) cluster. Located on its right is the 12.3-inch touchscreen multimedia system with AM/FM radio, video and audio playback, and Bluetooth connectivity. It also displays the viewpoint of the vehicle’s 360-degree camera that serves as a guide in maneuvering and parking.

Under the hood of the SUV is a turbocharged 2.0-liter gasoline engine paired to a six-speed automatic transmission. The engine produces power output of up to 232ps and a torque of up to 360Nm.

To ensure the protection of every occupant, the CS95 is installed with six airbags. It also uses the latest road safety technologies including traction control system (TCS), hill hold control (HHC), hill descent control (HDC), lane departure warning, and emergency braking lights.

The pricing for this feature-packed SUV starts at P2.178 million.
