2016 Audi A4 Receives 5-Star Rating from Euro NCAP

MANILA: Euro NCAP, the prestigious safety rating body for automobiles releases test results for few important cars only and Audi A4 sedan is one of them. The car has got maximum of 5 stars which is recommendable.

The model tested was equipped with a 2.0-litre TDI and S tronic automatic transmission where it scored 90% in terms of adult occupant safety and 87% in terms of child safety occupant category. More, with adoption of Audi Pre-Sense Basic and Audi secondary Collision Brake Assist, the car has received special “Advanced” reward also.

Throughout the test, the Audi A4 was subjected to collisions at up to speeds of 64 km/h against a deformable barrier that strikes 40% of the car’s total width. The test was conducted at 50 km/h where the NCAP stated that the “passenger compartment remained stable.” The car also received 75% safety in terms of pedestrian protection and also stated that the same level of protection will exist for all occupants, irrespective of the position or place, he is sitting in. So, now when it is officially known that the Audi A4 is safe and sober, then all of you must be more excited to take a good drive in yours.
