Through this partnership, we are making it easier for businesses to adopt renewable energy and EV charging solutions, helping accelerate decarbonization across both operations and transport,” ACEN President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Eric Francia said.
For his part, ACMobility CEO Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala highlighted the importance of getting powering up EV units with renewable energy.
“Electric mobility delivers even greater value when powered by clean energy. Together with ACEN RES, we are enabling businesses to cut emissions by integrating renewable supply with EV charging,” he explained.
Further, ACMObility expressed firm belief that by combining clean power and charging infrastructure, the two companies continue to advance solutions that support both the energy transition and the electrification of transport.
Based on data from the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) and the Philippine Electricity Market Corporation (PEMC), six out of 10 businesses under the Green Energy Option Program (GEOP) chose ACEN RES as their renewable energy supplier.
On the other hand, ACMobility has EV charging stations in more than 200 locations around the country.
