Audi E-Tron Sportback Concept teased ahead of its official debut

MANILA: Auto Shanghai is approaching near and one of the leading German automakers has teased a promising concept, which will be showcased at the event. Yes, Audi E-Tron Sportback concept has been teased ahead of its official debut and from the teaser images, the car looks astonishing. Though the automaker has released just a couple of images of its design sketch, this bunch is enough to determine what to expect later this week.

One of the images highlights Audi design head, Marc Lichte lifting the corner of the cover to reveal the front fascia of the E-Tron Sportback. The illuminated company's logo is also highlighted in the image and the feature is replicated on the rear of the vehicle as well.

The large wheels of the car are cornered and to add a muscular look to the car, a squat has been added to the coupe-like silhouette. The rear lights stretch across the back of the tailgate which further improves the sporty quotient.

While the “E-Tron” tag indicates to a green car but, it does not necessarily mean that the upcoming concept will be a completely powered by electric energy. But, the lack of tailpipe in photos or sketches indicate that the vehicle might be a pure electric concept.

It might be Audi’s plan to release more EVs in the future, following the launch of an E-Tron SUV. At this point of time, there is not much information available about the upcoming concept but, we might get to know more about the car at the Shanghai Auto Show 2017.
