Audi spices up work from home
MANILA: As most businesses in the Philippines, and the rest of the world for that matter, implement a work-from-home (WFH) arrangement to prevent the spread of Covid-19, Audi comes to the rescue to make your home office look a little bit more presentable and less boring during your next face-to-face with the boss.
The German automaker has initially released a couple of images today that you can use as the backdrop to spice up your next video conference call.
The first image features the rear of the new A8 L, Audi’s flagship luxury sedan in its long-wheelbase form (hence the L). It has a Quattro layout and uses a turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 TFSI good for 453hp and 660Nm of torque, and mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. In the foreground is the cutout of a woman, an is a guide of where your person should be when you use it as background for your conference call.
An R8 in highlighted in the second image. It uses a V10 engine in varying degrees of output that corresponds to each of the four trims, a basic Quattro model, a rear-wheel-drive only, the Decennium, and the performance Quattro. This one does not have a cutout figure so feel free to position yourself anywhere.
All it takes to use these backdrops is a click. But first, check the software you’re using. Apps like Zoom make uploading it relatively easy. Just go to the settings menu, click the virtual background tab, select either of the Audi photos, upload, and you’re good to go.
It’s possible as well if you’re the admin of your Google meeting room. Just go to Devices then Settings. Click Meet settings, followed by Wallpapers, and then Custom Wallpaper. Finish by clicking Save.
For other messaging apps, just use Google to find directions.
Audi will release new images periodically via Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, or you can check this link.
