BOC to kick off 2nd round of auctions for Discaya car collection

MANILA: The Bureau of Customs (BOC), through its Auction and Cargo Disposal Division, is once again auctioning a selection of luxury vehicles that were once part of Curlee and Sarah Discaya’s controversial car collection.

The second auction for the said cars will be held at QCOM Building, Bureau of Customs, Port Area, Manila.To note, these vehicles were previously put up for the auction block before, but their appearance in BOC’s most recent announcement, which was posted on the agency’s social media pages, suggests that they failed to attract buyers the first time around. Here are the said cars and their floor prices as disclosed by a prior report from BOC:
- Rolls-Royce Cullinan (2023): P45.314 million
- Bentley Bentayga (2022): P17.041 million
- Toyota Sequoia (2023): P7.258 million
- Toyota Tundra (2022): P4.994 million
Per the post, the auction will happen on December 5, 2025, at the QCOM Building, Bureau of Customs, Port Area, Manila. Public viewing for these cars ahead of the actual auction is available until December 3, 2025, at the BOC-PUC Grounds.

Later in November, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) issued Special Order No. 2025-505 placing Land Transportation Office Chief and DOTr Assistant Secretary Markus Lacanilao as the new Acting Regional Director of LTO-National Capital Region.
According to numerous reports, the aforementioned shake-up in leadership positions in LTO-NCR will allow for a more transparent investigation of the Discaya’s car collection.
