DFSK launches 3 NEV offerings under QSJ Motor PH

MANILA: DFSK has launched its three new energy vehicle (NEV) offerings in the market under QSJ Motor Philippines.

E5 PHEV
The DFSK E5 PHEV is a seven-seater sport utility vehicle that measures 4,760 millimeters (mm) long; 1,865 mm wide; and 1,710 mm tall with a 2,785-mm wheelbase.
Powering the vehicle is a 1.5-liter naturally-aspirated gasoline engine (which has the capacity to dish out 174 horses [hp> and 135 Newton-meters [Nm>) and a 130-kilowatt electric motor (that can deliver 174 hp and 300 Nm).
The electric mill comes with a 17.52-kilowatt-hour battery that lets the vehicle cover a range of 87 kilometers (km). Combined, the powertrain set-up — per QSJ Motors — covers a range of more than 1,000 km.
Sending the power to the front wheels is the E-continuous variable transmission with wet-type multi-disk clutch.
Fitted inside the DFSK E5 PHEV’s cabin are two digital screens (seven-inch instrument gauge cluster and 12.3-inch infotainment system), heated and cooling front seats, up to 12-speaker set-up.
Its suite of technologies includes anti-lock braking system with electronic brakeforce distribution and brake assist, electronic stability controller, traction control system, as well as hill start assist and hill descent control.
The DFSK E5 PHEV is available in two trims namely the Deluxe (priced at P1.58 million) and Ultimate (P1.88 million).
Candy Mini EV
Intended for city dwellers, the DFSK Candy Mini EV is 3,030 mm long; 1,495 mm wide; and 1,640 mm tall with a 135-mm ground clearance and 1,960-mm wheelbase. It rides on 13-inch wheels wrapped in 145/60 radial tires.
Equipped with an electric motor in rear-wheel-drive configuration (which has a maximum churn of 40 hp and 100 Nm of pulling power) that is matched to a lithium iron phosphate battery the compact vehicle can give an emissions free range of as far as 220 km.
The vehicle’s stopping mechanism is made up of discs at the front and drums at the rear.
It is priced at P658,000.
EC75
Lastly, the EC75 commercial van is an ideal option to businesses who want to trim down carbon footprint.
The fully-electric two-seater van has a length of 5,130 mm; 1,860 mm width; and 2,020 mm height and has a 3,20-mm wheelbase and 170-mm unladen ground clearance.
It features various smart features that make it a future-ready logistics partner.
Allowing the vehicle to move its seven-cubic meter cargo space capacity is its front electric motor that can give out 94 horses and 230 Nm of torque. It matched to a 50.38-kilowatt-hour power battery.
Retailed for P1.45 million, the DFSK EC75 is also tailored with various features such as engine start/stop, wireless phone charging, head-up display, blind spot detection, adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane keeping assist, and speed limiter.
To note, QSJ Motor Philippines is also the distributor of Seres vehicles in the country — a brand that has yet to commence retail operations locally.
