Elon Musk Speaks on Tweeter – Model X and Model 3 to Come Soon

MANILA: Elon Musk is the man of the hour, and those who are not aware of this born genius, you guys are seriously missing out a lot. He is the Chief Executive of Tesla Motors Inc., the giant that designs and manufacturer’s electric automobiles. In its kit are included many applauded work of art that are as fresh and unseen as the morning dew. Twitter is the place where Elon interact the most and reveal company's upcoming plans.

Following this trend, he gave away the deadline for the delivery of Model X, world's first electric driven SUV. After many delays, the car will be finally handed over to customers on Sept. 29. Apart from that, he also talked about Model 3, that he said would be a cheaper sedan that will take another two years to enter into production. As for the price, the smaller sedan will cost around $35k and pre-orders will only commence there-forth.

Apart from the text messages, Elon Musk team members shared some production pictures of Tesla Model X. The second fully built unit after Mode S, X showed off some never seen before engineering and designing skills. The exterior front has been inspired by the concept model revealed back in 2012. From its grille to headlamps, fog lamps to sleek roofline, curvaceous third window to unique taillamp, you name it and a masterpiece is on offer. A striking new feature added is rear-door falcon wings that are far better that conventional gull wings that occupy more space.

The interior area is a carry forward from the previous generation Model S, as more than 60% of specs are borrowed. It carries some standard features along with top-line amenities like self-parking, leather seats with heating/cooling option, second and third flat folding seat. Model X comes with a front facing third seat a changeover from the back facing seats in Model S. 'Funk' will now replace old 'Trunk', so enjoy your new front boot space.

Under the hood, Tesla has placed a 90 kWh battery pack, front, and rear wheels are powered with two distinct motors, generating a power of 259 PS and 503 PS respectively. Model X can zoom to a 100 km mark from a standstill in mere 4 seconds after achieving a top speed of 386 km.

Those who have paid the $5,000 and $140,000 deposit for Tesla Model X and special 'Signature Series' beforehand will soon get a fruit of their long wait. But those of you who have still not shed any money have to wait long, as the next batch will come no time soon. Smarter one's please come and collect your car from Fremont plant on 29th Sept.
