In a statement, Tesla explained that its strong momentum in the Philippine market is backed by its products and other innovative initiatives both in the local scene and on a global scale.

Here in the Philippines, Tesla has recently made ownership of its Model Y and Model 3 nameplates available through an incentive program. This provides eligible Tesla clients with free supercharging credits, a one-year complimentary comprehensive insurance package, and a free home charger.

    Other stories:

Moreover, the American BEV brand’s local arm is currently offering flexible financing options for its models. These can go for as low as P29,990 per month with the Model 3 sedan.

In other parts of the world, Tesla is aiming to keep up with rising demand worldwide by ramping up the production of its 4680 battery cells. With this, the marque says that it will be able to produce more Model Y units.

At this year’s Philippine International Motor Show, Tesla also wowed the crowds by announcing the integration of the Grok artificial intelligence (AI) multi-agent chatbot on every Model Y and Model 3 unit. And more recently, the company is set to release new Tesla-centric capabilities for Grok AI, which include:

    • Ability to make phone calls
    • Search and play music
    • Adjust climate control

All of these will be rolled out by the company through over-the-air updates soon.

Last but not least is Tesla’s expanding Supercharger network, which the company says sees the establishment of 2,400 new stalls worldwide year over year. In the Philippines, the brand’s local arm is planning to establish additional sites to support its growing customer base.

For now, no exact locations were disclosed, but Destination Chargers are already open in BGC and Southwoods Mall in Laguna
