    While impressive, its global delivery figure for the previous year actually reflects an 8.6 percent decline compared to 2024 when it managed to deliver 1.79 million cars around the world. Specifically, the American company delivered 153,097 units more in 2024 than in 2025. 

    In further breaking down Tesla’s annual report, a total of 1.6 million units produced at all of its facilities worldwide consist of the Model 3 and Y. Meanwhile, 53,900 units were a mix of other nameplates, such as the Model X, S, and Cybertruck.

    While Tesla has seemingly produced and delivered fewer cars worldwide last year, its Philippine arm saw huge milestones, which are indicative of its growth in the local market.

    In November 2025, Tesla Philippines announced that it saw a year-to-date sales figure of 2,100 units, only a few months after hitting its 1,500-unit record in July 2025. 

    Back in December 2025, the brand saw more milestones, one of which was climbing to become the top brand in the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Incorporated (CAMPI) for the electric vehicle segment. The aforementioned was detailed in CAMPI’s November 2025 report

    Additionally, the Philippine-spec Model 3 and Y showed high energy efficiency ratings during the Department of Energy-Petron Fuel Economy Run 2025. The aforementioned was conducted together with a bunch of other vehicles through a route that ran from Tarlac to the La Union Expressway. 

    In the said test, the Tesla Model 3 rear-wheel-drive variant achieved 92.31 kilometers per liter of gasoline-equivalent (km/Lge). The Model Y rear-wheel-drive, on the other hand, returned a rating of 84.63 km/Lge.

    As of this writing, the Tesla Model 3 for the Philippine market has a price ranging from P2.109 million-P3.099 million. The Tesla Model Y, meanwhile, starts at P2.369 million with its top-spec trim retailing at P2.689 million.
