Frankfurt Motor Show: Audi Concept Car, Vauxhall Astra and Kia Sportage to Visit on 15 September

MANILA: Frankfurt Motor Show is just around the corner, and the list of cars debuting in this renowned motor event is getting bigger with every passing minute. The latest bunch of cars that will be presented to the global audience consists of all-new Astra from the house of Vauxhall, fourth generation Kia Sportage and a concept car from the acclaimed automaker Audi.

A quick brief of all the three cars will follow the content below, but before that a quick reminder to all the lazy lads that the show will commence for press from September 15 to 16, and for public from September 19 to 28.

The all-new Astra is a creation of British car maker Vauxhall that claims to have given the car a complete makeover not just in terms of looks and technology but also in terms of weight. According to reliable sources, the car has undergone 200kg cut-down while carrying a sleeker look on the outside and airy feel on the inside.

On the part of technological upgradations, it will be fitted with a revolutionary in-car technology system, OneStar that includes features like 4G connectivity, e-calling that comes handy in case of an emergency. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto information system will also be included to enhance your driving experience.

The next-generation Astra will be produced at Vauxhall’s Ellesmere Port factory in Cheshire, same location where the ongoing model is fabricated.

Next-in-line is a radical concept vehicle from the ace carmaker, Audi. Like its aura, Audi's next car will be a major attraction center in the event. The company is all prepared with its e-tron quattro concept, an all-electric SUV with no engine companion. Wondering what's inside that is capable of running this massive car all by itself, will the car is integrated with a large lithium-ion battery. Placed between the axles the battery has two noticeable advantages, firstly a low center of gravity, thus helping the driver to have a more stable and confident ride and secondly the power it generates will allow the car to run 310-mile without any hassle.

In looks, the new SUV is bestowed with some great aerodynamic cuts and will carry a more coupe-like body style. In terms of dimensions, Audi's new sports utility vehicle is placed between the ongoing Q5 and Q7 models. Production will begin late in 2018 until then satisfy yourself with this concept SUV.

Kia Sportage will also join the above lot, pictures of which has been shown by us a few day back. The fourth generation crossover will showcase some stunning design language accompanied with high-performance figures and great interior comfort.
