Geely Automobiles to be Based on New Energy Car Technology

MANILA: The automaker Geely has declared its new step of venturing into a brand new energy car technology. It’s a very wise decision, as the competitors are endeavoring to make a niche for themselves through the introduction of low emission and eco friendly vehicles. Seeking this in perspective, the Government of China has taken up this plan into action. However, so far there is no information circulating about this brand's line up in the Philippines. Further, this technology is said to be worked out by a battery manufacturing company namely the Human Corun New Energy. Also, it is perceived that this strategy is thought through, in order to bring in more electric automobiles into the trend. To make this successful, there will be the establishment of more battery charging stations in place to make them proportionate with the increase in the number of such technology equipped cars.

Prior to this, there have been other brands who have plunged into this niche bracket of vehicle manufacturing, which includes Hyundai Electric Ioniq Hybrid. It has been found on three electric based power-trains. It makes the vehicle light in weight, rigid, fuel efficient, stable and much more safer. Also, the Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid has two power-trains, and possesses attributes of being low in emission, fuel economic and light on the pocket. In addition, the other trend following automakers are: TECO (Electric and Machinery Co. Ltd.), Jaguar all electric Formula E, Honda CRZ all electric sports model, 2016 Toyota Prius C (Persona Series), and Tesla Model X. It is very interesting to note that Honda has far reaching plans in this regard, of producing its major line up based on electric technology. Though it is targeted for the year 2020, yet the chances are bright that till then, it will have the scope to dig deeper and come up with something extra-ordinary. In general perspective, Geely stands in competition with brands like Chery, Toyota, Rolls Royce and BYD.

In the end, we are quite hopeful that this model could set itself in the picture of the Philippines automotive world model line up in the near future. In addition, it can be anticipated that this innovation will be soon picking up the pace to have a parallel motivation of having fuel efficient and low emission level models. To make this a massive success, it will be relatively important to build equivalent infrastructure to set in existing and future line-ups.
