Geely PH inaugurates GenSan dealership

MANILA: Geely Philippines opened its second Mindanao dealership in General Santos City. The new outlet is under the supervision of the Sojitz G Auto Philippines (SGAP) partner dealer in the south, Angcore Motor Group.

Angcore Motor Group has been an active player in the automotive scene for more than 40 years. Its reputation in the industry led its establishment of the Southern Mindanao Automotive Association (SMAA).

In a statement released by SGAP President and CEO Mikihisa Takayama, he said, “Our partnership with Angcore Motor Group is another step forward in Geely Philippines’ bid to expand its dealer network throughout the country. I would like to welcome the Angcore Motor Group to Geely’s growing family.”

Angcore Motor Group President Tobi Ang said that it’s an honor for the group to be one of SGAP’s partners in extending Geely’s products and services to different parts of the country. He stated, “As Geely started to get noticed and make headlines last year with its sales performance and good market reception, I believe this year would be better for the brand. We are pleased to be part of Geely’s expansion in the country.”

Geely General Santos is the newest addition to the Chinese car brand’s expanding roster of dealerships in the Philippines. A total of 21 more Geely outlets are expected to be inaugurated this year.

Geely General Santos is open from Mondays to Saturdays, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
