Greenstrum partners with Huawei to bring high-power EV charging

MANILA: Greenstrum has partnered with Huawei Digital Power to provide high-power electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions in the Philippines. 

As Huawei’s certified sales and service provider, the ACMobility subsidiary will deploy the Chinese marque’s integrated charging solutions, supporting the country’s growing EV infrastructure needs.

“Through our partnership with Huawei, we’re able to bring more advanced and reliable EV charging solutions into the Philippines in a way that’s built for real-world use,” Greenstrum Chief Operations Officer Carl Decloedt noted.

“Our focus is on getting the fundamentals right, from proper deployment to consistent performance. As a Certified Service Provider, that means making sure these systems deliver as intended on the ground.”

According to the Ayala-steered firm, the alliance makes the country’s fastest high-power EV chargers available at strategic locations — allowing fast and efficient charging for EV owners and commercial fleet operators. 

With this collaboration, EV owners will have access to 240- and 480-kilowatt chargers that can juice up energy banks in as fast as 10 minutes for compatible vehicles.

Already available at ACMobility EV Charging Hubs in Corinthian and Legazpi, the Huawei chargers can support multiple vehicles, optimize charging turnaround, and accommodate a wide range of EV models (including larger vehicles and fleet applications).

Further, Greenstrum is ready to provide thorough electrical system design, end-to-end installation, and maintenance across sites to ensure every charging is optimally designed from the start and operates efficiently throughout its lifecycle.
