Isuzu Makati hailed as 2023 DOYA winner

MANILA: Isuzu Makati has been crowned as the latest Dealer of the Year Award (DOYA) winner.

Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) bestowed the aforementioned recognition to the dealership under the Isuzu Gencars Group, which was led by its chairman Edgard Cabangon. To note, Isuzu Makati received the award for the second consecutive year.

In a statement, IPC noted that the back-to-back win of Isuzu Makati stands as a testament to the brand’s dedication to providing high-quality service and products to its customers nationwide.

Cabangon extended his appreciation to IPC for its unwavering support and acknowledged his team’s dedication, which has been instrumental in earning customer loyalty and achieving the dealership’s goal.

Meanwhile, Isuzu’s Subic and Cagayan de Oro dealerships were in second and third place, respectively.

For his part, IPC President Tetsuya Fujita expressed his gratitude to the whole dealer network for their remarkable contributions — emphasizing their role in maintaining the brand’s leadership in the truck segment for 25 consecutive years.

He also challenged the network to boost its light commercial vehicle business and continue to create business solutions for customers across the country.

The annual event also served as ground to recognize excellence in various operational areas, with special awards being distributed for achievements in Sales, Parts, and Service Operations.

Isuzu Subic won the Sales Operations Category followed by Isuzu Makati and Isuzu Alabang. For the Parts Operations category, Isuzu Bulacan was hailed as the victory trailed by Isuzu Makati and Isuzu Cagayan De Oro. Lastly, Isuzu Sta. Rosa won the first place in the Service Operations category, followed by Isuzu Calapan and Isuzu Cagayan De Oro respectively.

Individual accolades were also awarded to sales executives with Rica Anne Quico of Isuzu Alabang being named as the 2023 Sales Executive of the Year and Grant Jehiel Endriga of Cagayan de Oro being the recipient of the 2023 Truck Elite of the year award.
