JAC PH to preview EV offering at MIAS 2024

MANILA: JAC Motors Philippines will preview its upcoming electric vehicle (EV) offering in the country in the Manila International Auto Show 2024.

Revealed by the marque’s Brand Head Tonette Lee, the JAC Ytterby will be the Astara-led brand’s sixth vehicle in its roster and the first EV from its lineup.

While no specifications were disclosed, the JAC Ytterby — also known as the Yiwei 3 globally — is offered in some markets in two variants: a low-powered and a high-powered variant.

The former reportedly offers an estimated all-electric range of 405 kilometers (km) while the latter boasts an estimated emissions-free driving range of 505km.

More details will be shared when JAC Motors Philippines releases the specifications of its upcoming EV.
