Jeep PH to launch latest Wrangler 4-Door Rubicon this month

MANILA: Jeep Philippines is set to unveil the latest version of the Wrangler Four-Door Rubicon before the end of the month.

Based on the invitation sent to Zigwheels Philippines, the soon-to-be-offered off-road vehicle will be officially revealed on August 30.

The forthcoming launch will be conducted months after the company reintroduced the nameplate’s Four-Door Sport trim — which came out last May.

Relevant details about the upcoming model are expected to be shared closer to the launch date but here are some bits of information about the vehicle retailed overseas.

Abroad, the vehicle is 4,785 millimeters (mm) long; 1,877 mm wide; and 1,869 mm tall with a 3,007-mm wheelbase.

In the United States, the Jeep Wrangler Four-Door Rubicon is fitted with either a 2.0-liter I4 double overhead cam or a 3.6-liter V6 mill. However, we are more inclined to believe that the arriving model will have a 2.0-liter powertrain. It could either be fitted with a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic gearbox.

Meanwhile, expect a bump in the pricing of the Jeep Wrangler Four-Door Rubicon, which is currently pegged at P5.69 million.
