Jetour Auto PH gets Manzano couple as newest brand ambassadors

MANILA: Luis and Jessy Manzano are Jetour Auto Philippines Incorporated’s newest brand ambassadors.

The contract signing for the real-life couple to be the brand’s faces in the country was held at the recently-concluded 10th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS).

According to the UAAGI (United Asia Automotive Group Incorporated) Auto Group-led vehicle distributor, its partnership with the Manzano couple “comes at a time when more families are looking for vehicles that provide comfort, safety, efficiency, and long-term value”, saying that the two reflect the values shared by many Filipino households: being grounded, family-oriented, and thoughtful about the choices they make.

“Jessy and Luis are well-respected not only for their work in the entertainment industry, but also for the way they represent family life,” JAPI Marketing Director Cherry May De Los Santos said.

“Their authenticity and relatability make them a natural fit for Jetour and the customers we serve,” she added.

Additionally, the couple joined the growing number of brand ambassadors that have placed their trust on the brand: They are:

• Team Kramer: now on their fourth year
• VJ and Camille Prats-Yambao: now on their second year
• Julian Trono and Ella Cruz (signed up this year)

Under the partnership, the husband-wife tandem received a Jetour T1 Lightning i-DM in Sand Gold—the same shade that caught Jessy’s attention during her first encounter with the nameplate.

“When I first saw the T1 Lightning i-DM in Sand Gold, I was honestly stunned. The color stood out right away. It was elegant, distinctive, and unlike anything I had seen on the road. It has a strong presence without being overwhelming, and it felt like a vehicle that could fit both our family's everyday needs and our lifestyle,” she explained.

Meanwhile, Luis said that his familiarity with the brand grew as his colleagues already drive Jetour vehicles. “I see them regularly in the workplace parking areas and during shoots. When you consistently see people you know and trust choosing the brand, it naturally makes you curious about what they're experiencing. It showed me that more Filipinos are beginning to appreciate what Jetour offers.”

Power is sent to the front wheels via a single-speed dedicated hybrid transmission. 

With a full tank of fuel and its 26.7-kilowatt-hour (kWh) battery fully charged, the Jetour T1 Lightning i-DM can cover up to 1,200 kilometers.

Built on the “Kunlun architecture” unibody platform (similar to that of the T2), the vehicle also comes with side metal guards to protect its battery. 

Ride comfort and handling are assured by its MacPherson strut front suspensions and a multi-link rear end, while the disc brakes on all four wheels guarantee stopping power.
