Kia EV6 to be featured in second leg of Electrify Expo

MANILA: Kia America will participate in a series of five Electrify Expo events alongside other cutting-edge mobility companies to advance electrification. The tour's first leg happened last June 3 in California, USA, where electrification pioneers gathered to talk about the major issues and trends that the mobility sector is facing as it transitions to an all-electric future. The series will resume on July 23 and 24 at Husky Stadium in Washington. The all-new Kia EV6 will be available for attendees to explore firsthand.

In a statement, Kia America Vice President for Sales Operations Eric Watson said, “Electrify Expo brings together the top companies and executives in electrification to share knowledge and discuss how we'll make the transition to all-electrified vehicles as seamlessly as possible. The impact that the Electrify Expo events will have on us cannot be overestimated. Kia is the third best-selling manufacturer of EV vehicles in the US thus far in 2022 and we are proud to collaborate with our industry colleagues to chart the best path forward and help shape the future of the automotive industry.”

Laws affecting the EV sector, range anxiety, battery materials and sustainability, charging infrastructure, the future of autonomous driving applications, and supply chain constraints are just a few of the many topics that will be covered throughout the discussion.

Electrify Expo widened the range of its industry-facing events and education programs, with a full day of programming, industry leadership, and breakout sessions for the Auto and Micromobility categories. The series will end at Circuit of the Americas in Texas on November 11.
