Lamborghini announces 2024 season schedule for Super Trofeo

MANILA: Lamborghini has announced the schedule of races for the 2024 season of Super Trofeo.

Super Trofeo Europe, the longest-running Lamborghini one-make championship, will be present at three rounds of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) in the 2024 season. It will begin in Imola, Italy in April. The next races will be held at Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium and at Circuit de la Sarthe in Le Mans in France.

The Italian carmaker is expected to enter Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2s at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

One month after Le Mans, the Super Trofeo Europe will be joining the support bill of the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup at the Nürburgring in Germany and will then head to Spain for the next round.

Meanwhile, Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America will join the support bill for four WEC rounds. The season will commence in March at Sebring, Florida. The second round will be at the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in California, the third round will be at the Watkins Glen in New York, the fourth round will be at the Circuit of the Americas in Texas, and the fifth round will be Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Indiana.

For Lamborghini Trofeo Asia, 10 races will be held in five countries across the Asia-Pacific region. The season will start at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia in May. Round two will be held at The Bend Motorsport Park in Australia, while round three will be at the Inje Circuit in South Korea. The Fuji Circuit in Japan will host round four, while Shanghai International Circuit will be the venue of round five.

The season will conclude at the 2024 World Finals, with the date and venue to be announced at this year’s World Finals held at Vallelunga in Italy.
