Lamborghini Aventador Superveloce Roadster-Release confirmed

MANILA: Only a few months before the Geneva motor show the Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-A Superveloce was introduced to the world, and now the epitome car maker is ready with another surprise. The arrival of the   Aventador SuperVeloce Roadster, which was seen in March at the arctic for testing has now been officially confirmed by Lamborghini at the 2015 Goodwood festival of speed.

To be called the Aventador LP 750-A SuperVeloce Roadster, of which only 500 units would be produced by the company, which means that it would be priced significantly higher than its big brother Aventador SV. But one thing is for sure that these babies will sell out real fast similar to 600 units of Aventador SV, which were sold within weeks of its launch.

There are no major changes at the exterior side, apart from the removable roof panel. The roof of Aventador Roadster model is a simple two-piece design that snaps into place. When not in use, the two pieces fits closely in the car’s front trunk. Because they are made from carbon fiber, they not only fit closely but also are extremely light. The total weight comes in at less than 13 pounds, making it very easy to handle.

Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of the Italian automaker said, “The Aventador LP750-4 Superveloce is the purest, sports-oriented and emotional incarnation of a Lamborghini, and all 600 units have been sold, with first deliveries starting now. We will also produce a roadster version, which our dealerships are now taking orders for.

The Aventador LP750-4 Superveloce, which has plenty of power provided by a 6.5-liter V-12 engine, it comes with a maximum power output of 750CV and maximum engine speed of 8500 rpm and has the Lamborghini dynamic steering. The usage of lightweight exhaust system and a combination of aluminium and carbon fiber have reduced its kerb weight by 50kg.

Now, we have to wait for the official launch of this supercar which is integrated by Lamborghini’s sportiest DNA.
