LTO to expand E-Patrol Services

LTO regional directors and district office heads have already rolled out the program and in the next few weeks, the E-Patrol Services will be deployed as frequently as possible across the country.In a statement, LTO Assistant Secretary Atty. Vigor Mendoza II said that the agency is finalizing the deployment of the E-Patrol Services.
“This is part of our initiative to make all LTO services more accessible to the community. Through our E-Patrol Services, the people even in far-flung areas can conveniently access important LTO services,” Mendoza was quoted as saying.
“This is also part of our goal of promoting road safety involving over 20 million vehicles in the country,” he added.

The boosted initiative, LTO noted, is in compliance with the instruction of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to bring government services closer to the people.
“We expand our E-Patrol Services para kung pwede ay hindi na pumunta ang ating mga kababayan sa mga LTO District Offices. Gusto natin na maging komportable ang lahat para sa kanila dahil ito naman ang bilin ng ating Pangulo under the Bagong Pilipinas, (We expand our E-Patrol Services so that, if possible, our citizens will no longer have to go to the LTO District Offices. We want everything to be comfortable for them because this is the order of our President under the Bagong Pilipinas),” Mendoza explained.
“Instead of going to LTO offices, ang LTO na ang pupunta sa mga barangay upang magbigay ng serbisyo sa ating mga kababayan lalo na sa mga malalayong lugar (Instead of going to LTO offices, the LTO will go to the barangays to provide services to our people, especially in remote areas),” he added.
Photo from Land Transportation Office - Philippines Facebook PageFurther, Mendoza said the program does not only assure comfortable and fast LTO services but would also pave the way to the people living very far from LTO offices to save time, energy and time in any transaction like renewing their driver’s licenses or the motor vehicle registration.
Per the LTO chief, the agency’s regional directors and district office heads have already rolled out the program and in the next few weeks, the E-Patrol Services will be deployed as frequently as possible across the country.
