Lynk & Co to highlight 01 PHEV at 2024 PEVS

MANILA: Lynk & Co’s participation at the 12th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit (PEVS) is set to highlight its plug-in hybrid offering, the 01.

Per the United Asia Automotive Group Incorporated-led distributor, the global model from the Swedish marque will be offered for test drives to the public.

In a statement, Lynk & Co Philippines said that the 01 PHEV “offers a strong proposition for eco-conscious drivers” who are in the market for a stylish crossover.

Outside, the vehicle features a modern look accentuated by the signature Aurora Borealis daytime running lights, Energy Cube tail lights, and stylish 20-inch two-tone aluminum wheels.

On the other hand, its cabin boasts seats crafted from Econyl (a recycled nylon material), soft-touch surfaces, a 10-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, and 12.8-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

Powering the Lynk and Co 01 is a 1.5-liter engine matched to a seven-speed wet dual clutch transmission that can deliver maximum output of 258 horses and do 100 kilometers-per-liter consumption thanks to its plug-in hybrid powertrain setup. It also has multiple drive modes that allow drivers to switch between hybrid and pure electric operation seamlessly.

Lynk & Co Philippines noted that the said offering comes with a Type 2 AC charger that allows quick and convenient charging.

Further, the Lynk & Co 01 PHEV earned a five-star safety rating from the European New Car Assessment Program, thanks to its driver assistive features that include adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian detection, traffic jam assist, and lane keep assist with lane departure warning.

Carrying a P2.088 million price tag, the Lynk 01 PHEV is packaged with a five-year/100,000-kilometer vehicle warranty and two-year free periodic maintenance service.
