McKupler appointed as official Mobil distributor

MANILA: International energy company ExxonMobil has declared that McKupler, Inc. as the official sole distributor of commercial and consumer Mobil lubricants in the country.

The partnership was sealed through a virtual signing ceremony  attended by ExxonMobil South Asia Pacific Lubricants Business Development General Manager Teh Sze Min, McKupler Inc. President Efren D. Marquez, McKupler Board of Directors Member Dinesh Jayawardana, and ExxonMobil South Asia Pacific Lubricants Senior Director Yap Peng Ann.

In a statement, Yap said, “Through this commercial arrangement between ExxonMobil and McKupler, Inc., we remain committed to serving customers and the motoring community in the Philippines. This expanded relationship enables a truly seamless experience as well as the supply continuity and lubricant technology that customers have come to associate with the Mobil brand. We look forward to working with McKupler to provide customers with the high quality of products and lubrication solutions they deserve.”

McKupler, Inc., which is a joint venture between the Kupler Industries, Inc . of the Philippines and the McLarens Lubricants Limited of Sri Lanka, has been trusted in the lubricant industry for 60 years. McKupler Inc. will be supplying Mobil’s first-class lubricants and lubrication solutions including the Mobil 1, which is considered as the world’s premier synthetic motor oil. The company will also handle the distribution of the Mobil Delvac, the leading diesel engine lubricant, and the Mobil Super, a series of engine oil that is specialized for petrol engines. McKupler, Inc. will also deliver the supply of lubricant and lubrication solutions to different institutions in the manufacturing, fleet, and agriculture industries.

Marquez assures that the partnership will help both parties to establish a better connection and service to their customers. Aside from its head office in Bonifacio Global City, McKupler also has warehouses and satellite offices in Parañaque, Bulacan, Cebu, Davao, and Cagayan de Oro.
